Availability: The Solrite Virtual Power Plant program is available only to homeowners in eligible Texas zip codes served by participating utility providers. Not all areas qualify. Eligibility will be confirmed during the application review process.
Pricing Estimates: All pricing references, including "about $20/month" for battery systems and "around $0.12/kWh" for solar electricity, are approximate estimates based on typical system configurations and Power Purchase Agreement terms. Actual costs depend on multiple factors including credit approval, system size, site conditions, local incentives, utility rates, and current program availability. Final pricing will be provided in writing before any commitment is required.
Program Terms: Participation in the Virtual Power Plant program and all associated benefits, including passive income opportunities, are subject to program terms and conditions, equipment requirements, utility interconnection agreements, and grid participation rules. Solrite and authorized local partners will provide complete program details, terms, and conditions before enrollment.
Program Approval: The VPP program operates under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), not a loan or financing arrangement. Participation requires credit approval with a minimum credit score of 600. Not all applicants will qualify for the program.
